Description
Introduction
Anastronat 1MG contains Anastrozole which belongs to the group of medicines called Anti-cancer drugs. It is used in the treatment of breast cancer in women who have undergone menopause. Breast cancer refers to the disease in which there is overgrowth of cells in the breast which may go out of control.
Anastrozole helps in the treatment of breast cancer by decreasing the amount of hormone called estrogen by blocking a natural substance (an enzyme) in your body called aromatase. Along with the treatment you might have to undergo some lifestyle changes such as maintaining healthy weight, exercising and quitting alcohol. Prior to the treatment with Anastronat 1MG your doctor might want you to take some diagnostic tests to better evaluate your condition.
Before taking Anastronat 1MG inform your doctor if you have liver or kidney disorders and osteoporosis (decreased strength of bones). If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not take Anastronat 1MG without the consultation of your doctor. The most common side effects are hot flushes, weakness, pain, stiffness, or inflammation in joints, skin rash, nausea, headache, bones loss, and depression. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms worsen.
