What NIZONIDE 500MG is used for?

• It is indicated for the treatment of diarrhea

 Warning & Precautions

Talk to your Doctor, if you:

• Are allergic to any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• Have hepatic, biliary or renal disease
• Are 65 years of age and older
• Have HIV infected or have an immune disease (such as AIDS)

Pregnancy & Breast Feeding

• If you are pregnant or breastfeeding think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine

Children & Adolescents

• This medicine is not recommended to children and adolescents under 11 years of age

 Interactions

Tell your doctor if you are taking,

• Tizoxanide (used to treat diarrhoea)
• Warfarin (used to prevent blood clots)

 How to Use

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you

If you take more NIZONIDE 500MG

• If you take more medicine than you should, talk to a doctor immediately

If you forget to take NIZONIDE 500MG

• Take your next dose at the usual time, and then keep taking your medicine as your doctor has told you. Do not take a double dose to make up for a forgotten dose

 If you stop taking NIZONIDE 500MG

• Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
