- EDASTAR is used to treat people with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS)
Warning & PrecautionsTalk to your doctor before taking EDASTAR, if you:
- Are allergic to edaravone or any of the ingredients in EDASTAR
- Have asthma
Pregnancy & Breast Feeding
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or planning to have baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
Children & Adolescents
- It is not known if EDASTAR is safe and effective in children
- Ask a doctor before using EDASTAR in children
Interactions- Tell your healthcare provider about all the medicines you take, including prescription and over-the-counter medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements
How to Use- You will be prescribed EDASTAR by a healthcare provider
- EDASTAR will be given as intravenous (IV) infusion into your vein by doctor or nurse
Side EffectsLike all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
- Allergic reactions suh as hives, itching, swelling of the lips, tongue, face
- Breathing problems or wheezing
- Dizziness or fainting
More Information- Keep out of reach of children
- Store at room temperature (15-25ºC)
- Do not use this medicine after the expiry date
