Children & Adolescents
- It is not known if CYMGAL 450MG is safe and effective in children in infants less than 4 months of age

Driving & Using Machines
- CYMGAL 450MG can cause seizures, sleepiness, dizziness, and confusion. You should not drive a car or operate machinery

 How to Use
 How to Use- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- Swallow the tablet with water
- Take CYMGAL 450MG with food
- Do not break or crush this medicine
If you take more CYMGAL 450MG
- If you have taken more CYMGAL 450MG than you should, talk to your doctor or local hospital accident and emergency department
If you forgot to take CYMGAL 450MG
- Do not take a double dose to make up for forgotten individual doses. If you have forgotten to take your medicine, take it as soon as you remember
- If your next dose is due within 2 hours, take the dose now and skip the next one
If you Stop taking CYMGAL 450MG
- Do not stop taking this medicine, until the doctor has told you to do so

Valganciclovir is used for the treatment of cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of retina (retinitis) in adult patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). It is also used for the prevention of CMV infection in patients who have received an organ transplant from a CMV-infected donor

After taken orally, valganciclovir gets converted into ganciclovir by liver and intestinal enzymes, which then prevents the growth and spread of cytomegalovirus.
