Driving & Using Machines
- Do not drive or operate any machines while taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness, drowsy or less alert than normal
Interactions
Tell your doctor if you are taking,
- Phenytoin and fosphenytoin (used to treat epilepsy)
How to Use
- Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor has told you
- You should drink a full glass of water with each dose of this medicine
If you take more HANSEPRAN100MG
- If you have taken too much than your prescribed dose, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital straight away
If you forget to take HANSEPRAN 100MG
- If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember, then continue your treatment as before
- Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose
If you stop taking HANSEPRAN100MG
- Do not stop taking this medicine unless your doctor tells you to do so
Side Effects
Like all medicines, this medicine can cause side effects, although not everybody gets them
Serious
- Increase in liver enzymes causes severe nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, black or black tarry stools, yellow eyes
Common
- Stomach upset and diarrhoea

- Liver damage
